Add Credit or Debit Cards to Wallet
Givelify Mobile App
In the Givelify app, sign in to your giving account.
Select Profile > Wallet.
Select Add Card.
Enter your new card information.
This card will now be added to your Wallet and can be used for future giving.Repeat steps if you would like to add more methods of payment.
If you want to make this new card your preferred card, select Profile > Wallet and then select Set as Preferred.
Note: You can also add or change your card from the Gift Summary screen before confirming your donation.
Givelify Website
Visit Givelify Website.
Search for an organization you would like to give to.
Select the amount you would like to give.
Under the Gift Summary tab, select Change Payment.
Select Add Payment Method.
Enter the card details and select Next.
Enter the Billing Address information then select Add Card.
Delete Credit or Debit Card in your Wallet
Givelify Mobile App
In the Givelify app, sign in to your giving account.
Select Profile > Wallet. You will see all cards in your wallet.
Select Remove next to the credit card you want to delete.
A message will appear:
“Are you sure you want to remove this payment method from your Wallet? Any recurring donations associated with this payment method will be canceled as well.”Select Yes, remove to confirm, or tap Cancel if you change your mind.
Givelify Website
Visit Givelify Website.
Search for the organization where the recurring donation is set up and select it.
In the upper right corner, select Join or Sign In.
On the Join or Sign In page, enter the Email you would like to use for your account.
Select Continue.
After signing in, please select your profile in the upper right portion of the screen.
Select Wallet.
Locate the card you would like to remove and select Delete.
A message will appear:
“Are you sure you want to remove this payment method from your Wallet? Any recurring donations associated with this payment method will be canceled as well.”Select Yes, remove to confirm, or tap Cancel if you change your mind.
Change your Preferred Credit or Debit card for Giving
Givelify Mobile App
In the Givelify app, sign in to your giving account.
Select Profile > Wallet. You will see all cards in your wallet.
Select Set as Preferred on the credit/debit card you would like to set as your preferred.
Givelify Website
Visit Givelify Website.
Search for the organization where the recurring donation is set up and select it.
In the upper right corner, select Join or Sign In.
On the Join or Sign In page, enter the Email you would like to use for your account.
Select Continue.
After signing in, please select your profile in the upper right portion of the screen.
Select Wallet.
Locate the card you would like to make preferred and select Make Preferred.
Select Yes, if you are sure you have selected the correct method of payment.
Expired Cards
The instructions below apply only to the Givelify mobile giving app and not the Givelify website. If you haven’t downloaded the app yet, you can get it here.
Edit an Expired Credit or Debit Card on Mobile App Only
If your card has expired, you can update its expiration date instead of removing and re-adding it. To do so:
In the Givelify app, sign in to your giving account.
Select Profile > Wallet.
Locate the expired card and tap Edit expired card.
On the next screen, update the expiration date (MM/YY) and CVV.
Tap Save to update your card information.
Note: If you attempt to donate using an expired card, you’ll be prompted to update it first.
Remove an Expired Credit or Debit Card on Mobile App Only
If your credit or debit card has expired, you can either update it or remove it from your Wallet. Here’s how to remove an expired card:
In the Givelify app, sign in to your giving account.
Select Profile > Wallet.

Locate the expired card. It will display a red message such as:
“Your card expired MM/YY” or
“Your preferred card expired MM/YY”
Tap Remove below the expired card.
A message will appear:
“Are you sure you want to remove this payment method from your Wallet? Any recurring donations associated with this payment method will be canceled as well.”Select Yes, remove to confirm, or tap Cancel if you change your mind.
Note: If the expired card is your preferred or recurring donation method, be sure to Update the card OR Assign a new valid card for recurring donations to avoid donation failures.
Other Credit Card Issues
You may encounter the following warning messages when adding a card or attempting to make a donation:

Unable to Process your Card

The issuing bank declined the card, this can be caused by a variety of reasons.
- Double-check your card details (CVV, card number, and billing address) and enter them again.
- Check your available balance.
- Contact your card issuer to resolve any potential issues.
- Try a different card if the problem persists.

Insufficient Funds
-
The card does not have enough available credit or funds to complete the transaction.
Check their account balance or credit limit.
Use a different card with sufficient funds or topping up the current card balance.

Incorrect CVV
-
The security code (CVV) entered does not match the card information.
Double-check the CVV code and enter it again.
If issues persist, try using another card.

Incorrect Card Number
-
The card number entered is incorrect or invalid.
Re-enter card number, carefully verifying each digit.
Ensure that you are not copying and pasting incorrect information.
If issues persist, try using another card.

How to View Which Credit or Debit Card was Used for a Donation
To view which credit card you used to make a donation or to obtain receipt numbers, follow these steps:
Givelify Mobile App
Select Profile > History.
Select a donation and view the Credit Card (last 4 digits) that was used for the donation and the Receipt #.
Givelify Website
Visit Givelify Website.
Search for the organization where the recurring donation is set up and select it.
In the upper right corner, select Join or Sign In.
On the Join or Sign In page, enter the Email you would like to use for your account.
Select Continue.
After signing in, please select your profile in the upper right portion of the screen.
Select History.
Select a donation and view the Credit Card (last 4 digits) that was used for the donation and the Receipt #.
