How to Sign Up as a Donor/Giver

Sign Up on the Mobile App

  1. Navigate to the Givelify App on your device. 

  2. Select Profile at the bottom right of the app.

  3. Continue with your desired login method.

    • Continue with Facebook - Sign in and always access your account with your Facebook login information. Select Next.

      • Android: If the Facebook app is installed and you are logged in, the Facebook app will be opened. Otherwise, Facebook opens in the browser.

      • iOS: A limited Facebook login page is used, even if the Facebook app is installed. If you are already logged into Facebook in Safari, you won’t need to log in again.

      • You can deny access to the email during sign-up. In that case, there will be a prompt in the app to enter it manually. Sign-up without an email is not allowed.

    • Continue with Apple ID - (for iOS devices only) Sign in and always access your account with your Apple ID login information and select Next.

    • Continue with Email - Sign in with the appropriate username and password and select Next.

  4. Enter your full name and select Next.

  5. Enter a Password

  6. Select Join

Sign Up on the Givelify Website

  1. Visit Givelify Website.

  2. Search and select the organization you wish to give to.

  3. In the upper right corner, select Join or Sign In.

  4. On the Join or Sign In page, enter the Email you would like to use for your account.

  5. Select Continue.

  6. Enter your full name and select Next.

  7. Enter a Password.

  8. Select Join.

 

How to Log In to Your Givelify Account

If you’ve already signed up, logging in is quick and easy:

Log In on the Givelify Mobile App

  1. Open the Givelify app.

  2. Tap Profile at the bottom right.

  3. Select the method you used when you signed up:

    • Facebook

    • Apple ID (iOS only)

    • Email and password

  4. Complete any required prompts to access your account.

Note: Be sure to use the same login method to access your existing giving account. Using a different method may create multiple accounts. If you need help merging accounts, feel free to reach out to our Customer Support team at support@givelify.com.

Log In on the Givelify Website

  1. Go to Givelify Website.

  2. Search and select the organization you wish to give to.

  3. Select Join or Sign In at the top right of the screen.

  4. Select the method you would like to sign in with:

    • Facebook

    • Email

  5. Complete any required prompts to access your account.

Note: Be sure to use the same login method to access your existing giving account. Using a different method may create multiple accounts. If you need help merging accounts, feel free to reach out to our Customer Support team at support@givelify.com.

 

Common Login Issues & How to Fix Them

1. “I can’t remember my password”

  • Reset your Password - Mobile App

    1. Open the Givelify Mobile App.

    2. Go to Profile > Continue with Email > Forgot Password.

    3. Enter your email address and tap Request Reset Link.

    4. You'll receive an email with a link to reset your password.

    5. Open your Email and click the Reset Link. Follow instructions to then reset your password.

  • Reset your Password - Website

    1. Go to Givelify Website.

    2. Search and select the organization you wish to give to.

    3. Select Join or Sign In at the top right of the screen.

    4. Enter the Email associated with the account’s password you would like to reset and select Next.

    5. Select I forgot my password.

    6. Select Request Reset Link.

    7. Open your Email and click the Reset Link. Follow instructions to then reset your password.

2. “I didn’t receive the password reset email”

  • Check your spam, junk, or promotions folder.

  • Ensure you entered the correct email address.

  • Still missing? Wait a few minutes, or try requesting it again.

  • Reset links expire after 24 hours for your security.

  • If the link has expired, request a new reset link by repeating the Forgot Password steps.

4. “I don’t remember how I signed up (Apple, Facebook, or Email)”

  • Please reach out to our Customer Support Team at support@givelify.com to prevent duplicate accounts from being created.

5. “I tried to log in on the website but it doesn’t let me in.”

  • If you're trying to give via the Givelify Website, make sure you’re not trying to log in through the Organization Sign In portal, which is for organization officials.

  • Please use these steps to log in and donate through the Givelify website.

 

How to Update your Password (While Signed In)

Givelify Mobile App

  1. Select Profile in the lower right corner on the screen.

  2. Select Profile Details.

  3. Select Change Password.

  4. A link will then be sent to your Email. Follow the instructions to then change your password.

Givelify Website

  1. Visit Givelify Website.

  2. After signing in, please select your profile in the upper right portion of the screen.

  3. Select Profile Details.

  4. Select Change Password.

  5. Select Yes.

  6. A link will then be sent to your Email. Follow the instructions to then change your password.

You will receive an email within the next few minutes with a link to reset your password.

 

How to Log Out

Logging out of the Givelify app is simple. By default, the Givelify app leaves you logged in for a quicker and easier giving experience. However, if you don’t want to stay signed in all the time, follow these steps to log out:

Givelify Mobile App

  1. Select Profile > Profile Details.

  2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen and select Log Out.

Givelify Website

  1. Select your profile in the upper right portion of the screen.

  2. Select Log Out.
