Whether you use an iPhone, Android device, or are giving online, you can add a message when sharing a gift. You can select from pre-set messaging or create a personalized message of your own.
How to Add a Message to Your Gift
Once you have added a message to a gift, officers on the organization’s account have the ability to reply to your message. This reply will be sent via email to the address you have listed on your account, and you can also view the reply within the app.
To view replies to your messages within the app, follow these steps:
1. On your mobile device, open the Givelify mobile giving app and log in to your personal giving account.
2. Tap on Profile at the bottom right corner of your screen.
3. Tap on History.
4. Tap to open the gift where you left the message.
If an officer from the organization replied to your message, their response will appear on this screen under the Message header, just below your initial message.
Note: You will not be able to continue the conversation within the app.
