Givelify now has a report format created specifically to integrate with your PowerChurch church management system. No more spending time deleting columns and reformatting your reports – we’ve made it easy to share Givelify data with PowerChurch, saving you time and effort when reconciling donations.
Set up import schedule
To access your PowerChurch integration, log in to your Analytics Dashboard at http://dashboard.givelify.com/login.
- Select the Integrations tab.
- From the setup page, select PowerChurch Software.
- On the pop up, select the Frequency and Day that you wish to have reports auto-generated.
- Select Continue to complete Step 1.
- Review the confirmation screen, then select Continue.
The PowerChurch Integration home page will allow you to review all exports that have been run for your account since your integration implementation.
- To run and test your first test export, select the Custom Reports tab and choose the dates for the first report.
- Select Continue.
- Your export will be available on the Reports page.
- If there are any donors or envelopes that have not been set up with their coordinating PowerChurch Envelope Numbers or Fund Number, you will see them listed under the Unmatched Donors or Unmatched Envelopes column to update.
- Select the blue numeric link to make edits.
Match Envelopes to Fund Codes
Note: A Fund Number is any automatically or manually assigned PowerChurch number that can be found on your existing contribution funds.
- Select the blue numeric link or visit Match Envelopes tab to correct any missing information.
- Match your Givelify Envelopes with the corresponding Fund Number from PowerChurch.
- Once all information is correctly matched, select Done.
Note: To edit any previously matched Fund Codes, please select the tab to Match Envelopes and find the dropdown for Matched and Unmatched options, select the Matched option and locate the item that you wish to edit, then select the blue link with the previously entered details and re-enter the updated number.
Match Donors to Member IDs
Note: An Envelope Number is any automatically or manually assigned PowerChurch number specific to Member giving used to identify donors in your system.
- Select the blue numeric link or visit Match Donors tab to correct any missing information.
- Match your Givelify Donors with their Envelope Number from PowerChurch.
- Once all information is correctly matched, select Done.
Note: To edit any previoiusly matched Member IDs, please select the tab to Match Donors and find the dropdown for Matched and Unmatched options, select the Matched option and locate the item that you wish to edit, then select the blue link with the previously entered details and re-enter the updated number.
Import Givelify Report into PowerChurch
Once you receive the PowerChurch import-friendly report from Givelify, you can upload your Givelify report into PowerChurch by following these steps:
- On your computer, visit www.powerchurch.com and log in to your organization’s account.
- From PowerChurch, click the Contributions tab.
- Click on Import Contributions to open the Introduction screen.
- Select Next.
5. Click on Import from File.
6. Click on Choose File to select the .csv file to import.
7. From the drop-down, select cc (for credit card) as the contribution type. Select Next.
8. On the Confirmation screen, verify that the information is correct and make any necessary edits.
9. When you are done editing the information, click on Finish to import the contribution records into PowerChurch.
10. Navigate to the Contributions drop down menu at the top and then Post all imported contribution records into PowerChurch.
