A convenient way to allow your members to contribute even when they aren’t present in the service is through a personal invitation via your organization’s Facebook Page or Facebook Live to use mobile or online giving. With Givelify, online giving becomes a simple, effective way to give to your place of worship from anywhere, at any time.

- Go to the post on your Page’s timeline.
- Click on the three dots at the top right of the post.
- Select Pin to Top of Page.
When you pin a post:
- The post will move to the top of your Page’s timeline.
- A pin icon will appear on the post.
2. Use Facebook Live during services with the Online Giving Link in the description
To start using Facebook Live at your place of worship, follow these steps:
- Open Facebook on your computer browser or download the free Facebook Pages Manager app (Available on the App Store and Google Play) on the smartphone or tablet you will be using to stream the service.
- Log in to your organization’s Facebook page in the Pages Manager app.
- Tap Create Post like you would to create a new post.
- Choose Live Video.
- Include the Givelify Online Giving Link in the video description.
- When service is about to begin and you are ready to begin streaming, face the device in the direction you’d like to show and tap Go Live again.
People on Facebook will now be able to instantly watch the footage that you film, as it happens. Anyone who has “liked” your organization’s Facebook page will receive a notification letting them know you are streaming live, and they can even share the footage with their own followers.
