You can now add a Donate button to your church or religious organization’s Facebook profile. That way people can donate to your organization through Givelify right from your Facebook page on their laptop, desktop, smartphone or tablet.

In order to participate in online giving, your organization must have a verified account with Givelify. If your organization does not have an account with us, you must sign up here.

Your Facebook page’s category must be set to “Non-Profit Organization” in order to add the Donate Now call-to-action button. To change your category, follow these steps:

  1. Click on About.
  2. To the right of Category, click Edit.
  3. Delete the current category that is listed and type in Nonprofit Organization. When the result appears, click on it to add it as your page’s category.
  4. Click Save.
