Can I change the account owner on my church or religious organization’s account?

Yes, the account owner can be changed. In order to do this, the current account owner must transfer ownership to another officer.

Have the current account owner visit on a computer and log in to their account. Then have them follow these steps:

  1. Click on Settings at the top right of your screen.
  2. Click on the Officers tab.
  3. Click the Transfer Owner button next to your account.
  4. Select the user you want to become the new account owner and save the change.

Note: Organizations can only have one account owner. Anyone else that needs to access the account should be added as additional officers.
