Givelify User Permissions

The permission granted determines what the user can see or do in the Analytics Studio. Permissions have been summarized into three easy tiers:

  • Basic – This permission is typically given to users who primarily perform non-financial functions such as marketing, communications, and fundraising activities, and consists of view-only access for most areas of the Analytics Studio. Users with the Basic permission can:

    • View Overview

    • View Donations; cannot reply to messages

    • View Donors

    • View Bank deposits (and Refunds)

    • View Manage envelopes/campaigns - View only

    • View Giving tools and send email to developers

    • View and generate Reports

    • View Settings - The following sub-menus are visible to Basic users:

      • App Profile - View only

      • Organization Info - View only

      • Mission Statement - View only

      • Users – View only

      • Campuses - View only

  • Financial coordinator – This is the default permission given to new users and is typically for users who perform a financial function within the organization. Users with the Financial coordinator permission can:

    • View Overview

    • View Donations; can reply to messages

    • View Donors and edit Member IDs

    • View Bank deposits (and Refunds)

    • View and edit Manage envelopes/campaigns

    • View Giving tools and send email to developers

    • View and generate Reports

    • View and edit Integrations

    • View Settings - The following sub-menus are visible to Financial coordinator users:

      • App Profile - View/Edit

      • Organization Info - View/Edit

      • Mission Statement - View/Edit

      • QuickGive - View only

      • Users - View only

      • Campuses - View only

  • Admin – This permission grants the user full access. Users with the Admin permission can:

    • View and edit Overview

    • View and edit Donations; can reply to messages

    • View and edit Donors

    • View and edit Bank info (and Refunds)

    • View and edit Giving tools

    • View and generate Reports

    • View and edit Integrations

    • View and edit Manage envelopes/campaigns

    • View and edit Settings - The following sub-menus are visible to Admin users:

      • App Profile - View/Edit

      • Organization Info - View/Edit

      • Mission Statement - View/Edit

      • Bank Info - View/Edit

      • QuickGive - View/Edit

      • Users - View/Edit

      • Campuses - View/Edit
