How to add giving envelopes/campaigns for your campus

You can add giving envelopes or campaigns for your campus, reorder, and activate or deactivate them.

Create New Envelope/Campaign

To create a new giving envelope or campaign for your campus, follow these steps: 

  1. Visit and sign in to your organization’s account.
  2. Select the drop-down arrow next to your organization's name in the upper left navigation menu and choose the campus you would like to manage.
  3. Select Manage envelopes/campaigns.
    Alternatively, you can select Edit envelopes/campaigns in the Actions (...) menu on the next to the campus on the Campuses page. 
  4. Select Create Envelope or Create Campaign in the upper right corner. 
  5. On the Create a new envelope/campaign form, enter the Envelope or Campaign name and Description. 
  6. If your organization’s management system is integrated with Givelify, enter the Fund name or Fund ID that is used in your management system. 
  7. Select how long you want the envelope to be available in the Givelify app (Always or Custom dates). If you select Custom dates, enter the Start date and End date. 
  8. If you want to set a fundraising goal, toggle the Set a goal amount to On and enter the dollar amount in the text box. 
  9. Select Save. 

Re-Ordering Envelopes/Campaigns 

If you want to re-order how the envelopes appear in the Givelify app, click the Move blobid2.pngicon to the left of the envelope or campaign name, and drag it to the position you want it to appear on the screen. 

Activating and Deactivating Envelopes/Campaigns 

Rather than deleting an envelope or campaign, you may simply want to deactivate it (such as a Christmas Giving envelope or campaign). You can deactivate envelopes or campaigns whenever you do not want it to appear in the Givelify app, and then reactivate it whenever you do want it to appear again. 

To deactivate an envelope or campaign, follow these steps: 

  1. Select Manage envelopes/campaigns. 
  2. On the Active page, click Edit for the envelope/campaign you want to deactivate. 
  3. Under Other settings, toggle Inactive envelope/campaign to On. 
  4. Select Save. 

 To activate an inactive envelope/campaign, follow these steps:  

  1. Select Manage envelopes/campaigns. 
  2. On the Inactive page, select Restore for the envelope or campaign you want to re-activate.
