You may no longer be receiving donation email notifications because they are either going to your Spam/Junk folders or your account is inactive.
Emails Sent to Spam/Junk
Some email providers (Gmail, Yahoo, etc.) are inconsistent with how they flag email. Givelify’s email notifications come from noreply@givelify.com, which can sometimes cause them to be sent to your Spam or Junk folder.
To resolve the issue, add noreply@givelify.com to your email contacts. This will ensure that your notifications are delivered correctly to your inbox.
Givelify Account Inactivity
Email notifications are only sent to Admins who have activated their Givelify account. Even though an account is created for a user, it will not be activated until they log into Givelify.
Update via Forgot Password
To resolve the issue, follow these steps to request a new account activation link:
- Visit analytics.givelify.com and sign in to your organization’s account.
- Select the Forgot your password link.
- Enter the email address used for your Givelify account and then select Send Email.
You will receive an email that includes a link to activate your account with a new password. You must select the link within 24 hours, otherwise you will have to start the process over.
Once your account is active, you will receive donation email notifications.
Update by Admin
If you are the Admin on the account, follow these steps to update another Admin user’s account:
- Visit analytics.givelify.com and sign in to your organization’s account.
- Select Settings > Users.
Inactive users will have a Resend Invitation button in their profile. - Select Resend Invitation.
A confirmation message is displayed that indicates Email invitation sent successfully.
The user will receive an email that includes a link to activate their account. They must select the link within 24 hours, otherwise you will have to start the process over by sending a new link.
Once the accounts are active, these Admins will receive donation email notifications.
Verify Notifications Turned On
You should also verify that email notifications are turned on in your User Profile.
- Visit analytics.givelify.com and sign in to your organization’s account.
- In the upper right portion on the Overview page, select the horizontal ellipsis next to your user name.
- From the drop-down menu, choose Edit Profile.
- On the Update Information page, ensure that the Notify when new donations are received check box is checked.
- Select Save.
