How to customize your organization’s Givelify profile

As part of the account setup process, it is recommended that you customize your profile to build recognition and participation with your donors. You can upload an image that identifies your organization, add your faith leader for places of worship, and include a mission statement. This information is displayed in the Givelify app to your donors.

Customize profile from setup menu

1. On the Givelify setup menu, select Customize Profile.
   
2. On the Customize profile screen, select Add banner image to upload a photo that identifies your organization. This image will be displayed in the Givelify app when a donor selects your organization. 
   
   After you have uploaded the photo, you have the option to Replace banner image if you need to change the photo in your profile. 
   
   If your organization is a Place of Worship, the Customize profile page includes the Faith leader area. The names of the users in your organization are displayed (5 names are displayed by default; select View all to display all of the users in your organization.
   
   
3. Select the name of the user who you want added as your faith leader and upload their photo.
   Or, select one of the following options:
   • Do not display a faith leader – This option is selected by default; if selected, no faith leader will be displayed in the Givelify app for your organization.
   • Add a new person as the faith leader – Select this option to add a new user as the faith leader, and then enter their First Name, Last Name, and Title. Select Add a profile photo to upload a photo of the faith leader to your organization’s profile. 
       
     Note: The new user will be displayed in the Givelify app but will not have an account associated with their name. On the Users page, they are listed with the Invite to Givelify action next to their name.
4. Review the Location information and Edit if necessary. 
5. Select Save and Continue.
   
   
6. In the Add mission statement text field, enter the text you want to appear in your profile on the Givelify app. 
7. Select Add logo image to upload your logo, which will be displayed when donors search for your organization. 
8. Select Save and Close to complete customizing your profile. 

Customize profile from App Profile

You can customize your profile or update it at any time using the Settings > App profile menu. Follow these steps to customize or update your profile:

1. Visit analytics.givelify.com and sign in to your organization’s account. 
2. Select Settings > App profile. 
3. On the App profile page, select the Customize Profile tab and update any of the following information:
   • Banner image - Select Add banner image and choose the photo to be displayed for your organization's cover photo.
   • Faith leader or Organization representative - The names of the users in your organization are displayed (5 names are displayed by default; select View all to display all of the users in your organization.
     
     Select the name of the user who you want added as your faith leader and upload their photo. Alternatively, you can select one of the following options:
     • Do not display a faith leader – This option is selected by default; if selected, no faith leader will be displayed in the Givelify app for your organization.
     • Add a new person as the faith leader – Select this option to add a new user as the faith leader, and then enter their First Name, Last Name, and Title. Select Add a profile photo to upload a photo of the faith leader to your organization’s profile. 
   • Organization Logo - Select Add logo image and choose the photo to be displayed in the app for your organization's logo.
4. Select Save. 

Note:  The logo will also appear next to your organization’s name in search results in the app. 

Modify or delete photos in profile

If you want to change or delete the photos you have uploaded to your app profile, follow these steps:

1. Visit analytics.givelify.com and sign in to your organization’s account. 
2. Select Settings > App profile. 
3. On the App profile page, select the Customize Profile tab.
4. Select Add image and perform one of the following steps to update your banner photo, organization's representative photo, or organization's logo:
   • To change the photo, select Change Photo and choose the new photo, and then select Apply.
   • To delete the photo, select Delete Photo and then select Apply.
5. Select Save.
